About Jordan

My name is Jordan Smith and I am a full time athlete and recent graduate from the National Sports School in Calgary Alberta. I am also a member of the Canadian Jr. National Luge Team. I am the current Junior Narional Canadian Champion. My goal is to compete for Canada in the 2014 Olympic Games in Socchi, Russia.

I train 12 months a year, 5 to 6 days a week in Calgary and I travel approximately 4 months a year. Training and competitions have taken me to Whistler, BC, Park City, Utah, Cessana, Italy (Torino), Igls, Austria (Innsbruck), Sigulda, Latvia, Konigssee, Germany,  Winterburg, Germany, and Oberhof, Germany.

Outside of Luge I also play division 1 soccer and am a Provincial gold medalist in track and field.
